Little Man grew out of little bathtub so we bought him a new bath seat. I usually just borrowed one but figured that Little Man might have to use it for awhile so we invested in one. They are really nice because I do not worry about him falling over. He is so excited to take baths and usually does not mind water in his eyes which is good because Princess loves to dump water over his head.

Feeding Himself
We have been working with Little Man to try and feed himself instead of waiting for us to put something in his mouth. Usually he just opens his mouth and we are suppose to put in Cheerios or Puffs in for him. I talked to my Early Intervention lady and she made a couple of suggestions. We tried the bitter biscuits which he did O.K. with but would not really hold on to them very well and just did not seem interested in.

Hair Bow Holder
One of my new years resolutions, along with the rest of the world, was to lose weight. This last year for me was a little bit stressful and I found myself eating when I got stress out. Let me just tell you not a good idea. The problem being that I already need to lose weight before I had Little Man, and before a had Princess. I also love to do crafts and make things even though I am not professional I love to do them. I decided to combine those two and for every 2 1/2 pounds I lose and keep it off for a week I get to do a craft. My first projects was a hair bow holder for Princess's bows. It is not as cute as this one but I think it turned out cute.

Music
Little Man has always loved music. Whenever he would get upset all you had to do was sing to him and he would stop crying. At times he would even fall asleep while you sang. For Christmas he got a musical toy that he loves to play with. I noticed the other day that whenever he heard music he will automatically start moving his hands. We have noticed it more and more. I just think it is so cute to watch him. At the end of the video also notice his bobble head that I talked about in the last post.
13 Month Check Up
Little Man has also developed a new head bob. We have started to call him bobble head. I will have to post a video of what I mean. Dr. Durham seems to think it is due to his low muscle tone. He wants us to come back to just check on things at 15 months. These cute kiddos are like all kids is so many way and yet they have their own unique quirks. I love Little Man though and am so grateful for opportunity I have to raise him. He truly has been such a joy.

Pinewood Derby
This was our first pinewood derby experience with 1st Son. I was so grateful that Chris knew how to help him because I was totally lost. I was also surprised by how much work it took to make his car. 1st Son was so proud of his car and even took a couple of 1st places. He won the "most compact" car award. I was grateful that there was not an offical winner but that everyone got awards. I loved watching how excited each of the boys got then it was their turn for a race.
1st Son also received his wolf award that night at pack meeting. He did a lot of hard work and I am very proud of him.
