Buddy Walk

We have three days until our Buddy Walk and I'm really excited!!! We decided to make shirts this year for our team. I think they turned out really cute. Thanks to Stacy, one of Chris's former students and an amazing friend, for designing them.

Family Pictures

Sunday we went and had family pictures with my side of the family. Chris took a couple of pictures while we were waiting. We tried to use the timing setting in these family ones but I had to laugh because it each one someone is not looking or their eyes are closed. Princess is not looking

Chris's eyes are closed.

My eyes are closed. Gotta look family pictures. Hopefully the real one turn out better.

Princess and her cousin. We laugh because these two are so different, Princess is brown hair with brown eyes and her cousin is blond with blue eyes.

My dad with all the grandsons.

My mom with the granddaughters.

My parents with all their grandkids.

Horses

For FHE last week we were able to go and ride horses with a family we have been blessed to associate with for the last couple of years. Chris taught two of their daughter in seminary and their mother worked at Millcreek Jr High School while Chris was teaching there. We also had Sage with us at EFY two years ago when we were at Utah State.

They also had a little girl with Down Syndrome named Cherish who lived for 11 days and then returned home to her Heavenly Father. It was so neat to be able to see pictures of Cherish and hear how much they loved her. Princess was in heaven and wanted to stay on that horse all night.
I was surprised at how well that boys did. At first 2nd Son really did not want to go ride houses but after we got there he loved it.

We even put Little Man on the horse for a minute. He really did not know what to think of the whole thing.

One of the games they had us play was to trying and dress the goat. It was a lot of fun to see them chase the goat around but they did it and I even got a picture of it. We had a great night and the kids keep asking us when we get to go back and do it again. Thanks Thacker for a memorable night.
