Weighing in

We had Therapy this morning and each time Christine weighs Little Man to find out how much he has gained. Today with a full diaper and clothes on he weighs in at 19 pounds and 5 ounces. I am hoping by his 18 month check up he will be 20 pounds.

Yesterday while I was trying to pick Little Man up I scratched him right by his eye. I felt so bad and we cried together for a minute. Hopefully within the next couple of days his eye will return to normal.

Swimming Lessons

The past couple of years we have tried to get the boys into swimming lessons but because of schedules or sickness we have never be able to work things out. We decided to give it another try and signed the boys up for the same class and Princess in the beginning class. The boys we so excited and got right into the water which I was really happy about. Princess on the other hand wanted nothing to do with it. Chris finally had to just hand her over kicking and screaming to an instructor who was great and worked with her until she was ready to join the class. The funny part came when it was time to get out of the pool because she would not get out and cried the whole way home because she wanted to stay. That is so my Princess.
We decided to go to the South Davis Rec Center to support their swimming program because they offer one on one swimming lessons for special needs children for the same price as everyone else. We are looking forward to taking Little Man in a couple of years to learn to swim. I am so grateful for program like this to help our children.

Spring Break

This year for spring break we headed down to St. George to escape the snow and enjoy the warm weather!! We stayed at Grandma Betty's (Chris's grandmother) summer/winter home. We are so grateful to her for allowing us to stay. Chris's parents also came down a couple of days earlier. We had a great time listening to General Conference, celebrating Easter, Dying eggs, and Easter egg hunts.

Grandma brought this huge roll of paper for the kids to color during Conference. It kept them quiet for about 10 minutes. I love General Conference but with 4 kids it is kind of hard to hear anything so I have to record it and watch it later when the kids are asleep.

Snow

This is how Little Man felt out our resent weather. We were so excited to pack away our winter coats and pull out our summer cloths but it will have to wait until the weather starts to warm up. We are excited for Spring Break which starts tomorrow because we are headed down to St. George to play. It will be nice to get away!!

County Fair

Today was 1st Son County Fair at school. He did a report on Duchesne County which has Kings Peak (the highest peak in Utah) and Starvation Reservoir. We are so proud of the hard work he did on all the projects-report, float, poster and an oral report. We are hoping to go visit his county this summer.

Scooting (kind of)

Little Man has been going through separation anxiety for the last couple of months which means that I have to take him everywhere I go so lately he has been spending a lot of time in the kitchen. I would leave to go get something and find Little man in a totally different place. I kept asking the kids if they were moving him and they all said they weren't. Finally one day I walked in right as he was scooting his way backwards across the floor. It is so cute to watch because he is sitting up but he lays flat on the floor and pushes. I have tried a couple of times to record it but of course he always stops as soon as he sees me. Today I got a couple of pushes so I though I would share.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

The weather was so nice today that we decided to go to the park to play. We had a great time and Little Man loved the swings. I love this weather!!!! I am sure that we will be spending a lot of time at the park this summer.
